Super Bowl in the Bahamas

Moving from Bitter Guana Cay over to Black Point where there are a few restaurants, and more importantly, a laundromat.

We had fun seeing the iguanas this morning on Bitter Guana Cay. After playing on the beach, taking pictures of pink iguanas, and seeing the white cliffs, we headed back to Fika to move on and prepare for the Big Game.

After prepping for the short sail, we raised anchor and enjoyed a little breeze to shake out our sails. Once the wind really got us going and we were having fun, we arrived at the anchorage. 😅

Now it’s time to prepare for the Super Bowl! We’ve moved to Black Point Anchorage and will be able to meet up with our friends Alicia, Adam, and Marlin on SV Wander.

Chris and Ewan ran to shore to pick up pizza and wings. Gwynnie and I tried to get the Super Bowl working on our projector on the boat, but the app stopped working as soon as the game started. 😥

Ewan was the primary crew member interested in the game, so after we had our quick pizza and wings dinner, the boys hopped back in the dinghy and headed to the Yacht Club to join SV Wander in watching the game.

On their way back after half time, the sun had already set. We saw that all the boats were lit up with their team colors: green lights for the Eagles and red lights for the Chiefs! We turned on our green lights to join in!
