Cruising life always brings surprises, but we never expected to have front-row seats to a SpaceX launch! From our anchorage, we watched as Starship soared—and then exploded—filling the sky with smoke, debris, and even sonic booms. The booster landing was a success, making it an unforgettable experience!
Between dinghy repairs, regatta events, and a much-needed fridge fix, the past few days in George Town have been full of adventure. While Chris scrambled to fix the fridge and dinghy, the kids and I soaked up the regatta fun, an ice cream social, and even explored the local library. And at long last—our fridge is working again!
What started as a peaceful Sunday in George Town—Beach Church, a pig roast, and kids' boat races—quickly turned into a cruiser problem-solving mission when our dinghy, Cuppa, sprung a massive leak. Thankfully, the incredible boating community stepped in once again, proving that even in the middle of an unexpected challenge, we're never alone.
It’s book launch day! Remote Work Afloat is officially available on Kindle, with print and audio versions coming this summer. I wrote this book because it’s the resource I wish I had when we started working from a boat. If you're dreaming of taking your work onto the water, this guide will help you stay connected, productive, and free to enjoy the cruising life.
