Black Point Settlement

We all needed a break from the boat, so we headed to shore. By the fishing dock, there are lots of nurse sharks and sting rays hanging out. They enjoy snacking on the scraps that the fishermen throw into the water after each day’s catch.

We took a walk and found the laundromat. It claims to be the best, and we have to agree. Not only does it have a gorgeous view, but it’s incredibly clean and organized. There are also showers that the cruisers can use, as well as someone who can cut hair. It’s an all-in-one stop for cruisers!

Rockside Laundromat is our new favorite laundry stop in the Exumas!

After that, we headed to the Yacht Club for happy hour! In addition to our cheap drinks, they served complimentary conch fitters, popcorn, and chips with salsa! This is where Chris and Ewan enjoyed watching the first half of the Super Bowl the other night.
