Provision Day!

George Town, Grand Exuma, Bahamas - leaving the anchorage and mooring field near Chat & Chill Beach and moving to Kidd’s Cove Anchorage to head into town for the first time.

Our friends on SV Atlas VII left to start working their way back north, so we decided to check out the anchorage close to town. There’s a small lake there called Lake Victoria that you can access through a bridge-tunnel from the anchorage. From there, we can reach the dinghy dock for the grocery store, gas station, farmer’s market, and more. Our friends mentioned that there’s even a donut shop in town!

Heading into Lake Victoria in George Town, Grand Exuma, Bahamas. This entry connects our anchorage to the protected lake where the town dinghy docks are.

While in this area, we plan to work on filling our water tanks and getting food from the local grocery store.
