Back to Staniel Cay

Moving from Thomas Cay to Staniel Cay where there is a town for water, fuel, provisions, and more.

We need to top off our water and restock our groceries, so we’re heading back to an area with a town.

Specifically, we need to get supplies for Super Bowl Sunday tomorrow. We also heard over VHF that Big Dog’s Cafe in Staniel Cay will host a Super Bowl party with six screens, lots of liquid refreshments, and some good food.

We haven’t decided yet if we’ll stay and see what the Super Bowl is like in a tiny Bahamian bar or if we’ll be able to acquire enough provisions to keep moving and try our luck at connecting to the game on our Internet and hopefully with a free app trial…
